Community rules
Werkhaus Community is a place to show renders, ask for help and talk about the craft. These rules apply to every post, reply, profile and group. Werkhaus reviews every report; a person decides.

02How moderation works
- Automatic filters can hold a post for a look, hide it while a person reviews it, or disable a link. They never remove anything for good, give a strike, ban anyone or tell anyone why.
- A person at Werkhaus decides every report and every held item. The outcomes are: no action (a hidden item comes back), remove, change the rating, disable a link, a warning, a pause on posting (1, 7 or 30 days), or, for serious or repeated breaches, the end of Community access. The worst harms end the account.
- Strikes go with warnings and removals, stay active for 90 days, and add up to longer pauses. Spam is the one case where posts may be limited quietly instead of removed.
- Every decision comes with a statement of reasons: what we did, how long it lasts, which rule, what we saw, how we found it, whether a filter was involved, the strike if any, and how to challenge it. It never says who reported.
- Group moderators have a smaller set of tools inside their own group and never see the most serious reports.
03Reporting
Anyone can report anything they can see, signed in or not: the "..." menu on a post, reply or profile, or the report form with a link. The person you report is never told who sent it. You get a reference and hear the outcome. Reporting honestly is a rule (rule 9): nobody may be punished for reporting, and deliberately false reports are a breach.
04Decisions and appeals
If we act on your content or account, you get the statement of reasons under the bell and by email. You can appeal once, within 14 days; a fresh look happens at least 24 hours after the decision and you hear back within 7 days. If the decision is reversed, your content comes back and the strike is removed.
A copyright removal is challenged with a counter-notice rather than an appeal. A valid intimate-image removal cannot be appealed; a mistake is raised through support. If your report ended with no action, you can ask for a second look once.
05Safety and the law
If someone is in danger right now, call 911. If you are struggling, in the US you can call or text 988, or text HOME to 741741; outside the US, findahelpline.com lists free lines.
- Child safety comes first. Any sexual content involving someone under 18, real, drawn or rendered, is removed, the account is ended, and apparent child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Please never download, screenshot or share such material: reporting it is enough.
- Nothing sexual, ever, rated or not. Intimate images shared without consent are removed within 48 hours of a complete request, and we look for copies.
- Copyright: a registered agent takes notices and counter-notices; repeat infringers lose Community posting. See the copyright page.
- Law enforcement: what we hold and what each request needs is on the law-enforcement page. Content needs a warrant.
- Community is open to accounts in the United States at this time. Reading is open to everyone; posting needs an account.
