Draft 0.1Last updated Oct 18, 2026Pending legal review
Draft, pending legal review. This is a plain-language holding page. The final text comes from our attorney before Werkhaus takes real payments or opens to schools. If anything here does not match what Werkhaus does, we fix it; tell us at hello@werkhaus.app.
These are the rules for using Werkhaus, in plain words. By making an account you agree to them.
Free stays free. Paid plans are monthly and you can cancel any time.
Use Werkhaus for your own work and your team’s; don’t try to break it or resell it.
When we pause Werkhaus for maintenance, renders on your computers keep running.
02Your account
Werkhaus is for people 13 and older. Answer the age question for yourself only; never answer it for someone else. Accounts under 18 start with some things switched off, and a parent or guardian buys any plan for them.
One account is for one person. Keep your sign-in safe; you are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at hello@werkhaus.app if you think someone else is using it.
If you think an account belongs to someone under 13, tell us here or at safety@werkhaus.app.

03Plans and billing
PlansFree is free. Basic $8 a month, Pro $18 a month, Studio $39 a month (prices before tax).
PaymentBilled monthly through Stripe, at the start of each month of your plan.
CancellingCancel any time in Plan & Billing. You keep your paid plan until the end of the month you paid for, then move to Free.
Missed paymentYour plan keeps working while Stripe retries the card. If it can’t be paid, the account moves to Free; nothing is deleted at once.
TrialsThe 14-day Pro trial needs no card and ends on its own.
Price changesWe tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to you.
RefundsNo refunds for part of a month: cancelling keeps your plan to the end of the month you paid for.
04Your work stays yours
We don’t own anything you make. You let us store and show your render information, previews and transfers only to run Werkhaus for you and the people you share with. When you delete it, or your plan’s history window passes, it is gone.
The Grain learns only if you switch it on; see the Privacy page.
05Fair use
Don’t try to break, overload, or get around the limits of Werkhaus or anyone’s account.
Don’t resell Werkhaus or give other people access to your account.
Don’t use transfers to share anything illegal or that you don’t have the right to share.
Don’t copy add-ons lent to you through a team; copy checks exist to protect their creators.
06Teams and classes
A team owner decides who is on the team, who gets a seat, and what the team pays for. Work you do in a team is visible to that team. If you leave or are removed, you keep access to that team’s work for 30 days, then it ends; your own work stays yours.
Team owners, teachers and managers are 18 or older. Class and club teams are only for members who are 13 or older, and the owner confirms that, and that their school or club allows it, before anyone can join.
Attorney text goes hereWhat the school, as the class owner, agrees to on behalf of its students.
07Downtime, maintenance and changes
We sometimes pause Werkhaus for maintenance. When we do, renders already running on your computers keep running, and Werkhaus catches up with them when it is back. We say so in the app and in Blender while it happens.
We improve Werkhaus all the time. If a change takes away something you pay for, we tell you first.
Attorney text goes hereWhat we promise about uptime, if anything.
08Ending
You can stop using Werkhaus and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms; we tell you why and give you a chance to fix it, unless it is putting other people at risk.
09Liability and disputes
